Letter from the Author…
Dear Readers,
I hope you have enjoyed the books that I have written so far. It seems our society is filled with pessimism and hope for some is non-existent. However, hope is still alive and each day people reach for it. Patience is so important. Our society demands results now and is unwilling to wait for anything. Materialism has taken over what we feel wealth is. God’s gifts of mercy, love, family and relationships are among the great gifts of man, and they do not cost a thing. We seemed to forget kindness, at least some have. There are those that are kind and hope they can encourage others to pass it on. Every one of us faces hard times in our lives. Each person we meet in our daily lives is in different places in their reality. Give people a chance to appreciate kindness and maybe they will respond by being kind to another.
There are so many ways to encourage others, open a door, smile at someone that has a defeated look on their face. That small gesture can change someone’s whole demeanor for the rest of their day. We are meant to support each other not to bully each other. If someone must bully others to feel good about themselves, it is a sad state of affairs. Each day try to perform three acts of kindness. Just imagine how that could multiply if each person you bless blesses three more people. Be understanding when dealing with people. Ask for the help of Christ to control yourself and how to make a difference in as many lives as possible.
Just a reminder in God’s time you will be able to understand your purpose on the earth. Throughout your life you may have a change of purpose. Be open to these changes. Remember our short time on earth is driven by the hope that in the end, we have a life well lived. In my life, the river will still runs and will until my last breath.
Sincerely in Christ,
R.E.M. Willis
