‘Til The River Runs Dry
At a young age, Rhonda was a planner. She had a wonderful childhood and had her life all planned out. At age 9, John F. Kennedy helped her choose her purpose in life. She would be a Christian, a wife, a mom, a teacher, and a coach. It would be easy. So far everything had been fairly easy for her. So After high school she went off to change the world one student athlete at a time. The next ten years were far from easy, God had his own plan.
In God’s Time
McKenzie was a loving mother of three and for two years had been raising them alone. Her husband left during the pandemic when he lost his job. He had hoped to find a new job somewhere close and send for his family as soon as he was settled. McKenzie had not heard from him in over two years and thought he must be dead or had abandoned them. After two years, she also lost her job and had done all she could to pay the rent and buy food for her family. She even sold the family car. When she walked to the store, she passed a country church and often felt drawn to it.
As a child she was very active in church, but after she was married and became so busy with being a wife and starting a family, she had given up this part of her life. This morning, she was drawn so strongly she could not deny her heart.
Change of Purpose

Michael had one son and had lost his wife in a car accident. They dated; they knew they had something very special. Through the death of McKenzie’s best friend, she and Michael took over the custody of her daughter. They continued to raise the five children and do great work in the community. They decided to marry and officially unite this family. She legally was still married. She needed to file for abandonment. This exposed a major problem which blocked their wedding plans…
